I attended Ars Electronica last weekend, after having last gone there 16 years ago in 2003 (!) as an undergrad. The first time I went really opened my eyes – I was studying cybernetics at the time and the trip led me to study a master in digital arts a year later. Although a bit worried that it wouldn’t live up to the first trip, I was pleasantly surprised at the breadth of work and sheer quantity of it on display. It was also great that there was a strong music thread die to the AIxMUSIC festival that was running alongside/inside the main programme. There was too much to properly document, but here a few photos of some highlights.
