Your personality and your PhD

As part of the PhD I need to undertake 10 days of postgrad training. This morning I did a half day course entitled “your personality and your PhD”. This involved creating a poster of the ideal qualities of a perfect post-grad student and then taking the Myers-Briggs personality test. (The poster was just an excuse for everyone to work in groups). Ended up being assessed as having the personality type of “Extraverted Intuition with Introverted Thinking” or ENTP… in contrast to my self-assessed prediction of “Introverted Intuition with Extraverted Thinking” or INTJ. Not sure how this helps with the PhD. I anyone knows the answer, please post a comment!
